Peg Perl, Principal
Peg Perl has focused her career on strengthening and modernizing our institutions of democracy. She most recently served as Senior Counsel for Colorado Ethics Watch, a nonpartisan organization, where her work combined policy advocacy and litigation regarding government ethics, campaign finance, fair elections, and open records. Since 2013, Peg has led the Courts Matter Colorado coalition of progressive
organizations focused on public education and advocacy about federal court decisions and judicial vacancies in Colorado.
Prior to moving to Colorado in 2010, Peg practiced law for over a decade in Washington DC, including nonpartisan policy counsel positions with the U.S. House of Representatives Ethics Committee and the Federal Election Commission.
Peg earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from Arizona State University. She volunteers as the Board Chair of the Women’s Lobby of Colorado where she advocates for healthcare, employment equity, and other issues for women and families. Peg also teaches courses on law and advocacy in the Colorado Women's College & University College at the University of Denver.
